Apple enters the market for online education tools by expanding iTunes U beyond webcasting to delivering online courses

iTunes U is a dedicated part of iTunes focused on delivering online course. The product started out as a media publishing source, to view webcasts and slides. But it has since expanded into a dedicated online elearning tool including a dedicated iOS app and has spread from conferences and university courses to include (US) school curriculums.
