From the announcement:

Box For Salesforce is built on Box Embed, our HTML5 technology that makes it easy to embed the entire Box experience within the industry’s leading CRM platform. The new integration supports the full power of Box, including content collaboration and document workflow, within a Salesforce record

Also references the use of Box Embed with Jive for social software solutions, NetSuite for ERP and Tidemark for financial analytics.
